Delete your account and your data

In the app

1. Open DuoVitaal and go to Me.
2. Tap Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion starts right away. If it doesn't finish in one go (for example on a bad connection), try again: it continues where it stopped.

By e-mail

Can't open the app any more? E-mail info@duovitaal.com from the e-mail address or with the phone number you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We check that the account is yours and delete it within 30 days. You'll get a confirmation.

What is deleted

• Your profile, your contact details and your phone's push tokens
• Your workouts, schedule, preferences and fitness profile
• Your journal, affirmations, reflections, goals, measurements, habits and progress photos
• Your assignments, challenge results, points, rewards and your own activities
• Your coaching connections, intakes, nudges and support requests
• Your profile photo and the photos you sent in chats
• Your sign-in account

What stays, and why

• Messages in chats with others stay so the conversation remains readable for them, but without your name, text, photo or attachment. They show "Deleted user".
• Cheers you sent keep only their emoji, without name or message.
• A coach's workout plans, programmes and assignments that clients use stay available to those clients, without a link to the coach.
• Reports about inappropriate behaviour, by you or about you, are kept for moderation and safety.
• A record that the deletion happened (counts only, no content) is kept for a year.
